Role Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support the growth of our agentic AI and related data products, advisory, and consulting services across financial services and key industry verticals. This role focuses on generating qualified opportunities, driving outbound engagement, building early-stage relationships, and supporting the sales team with targeted pipeline development. You will help position our capabilities across Technology Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI, Digital Transformation, and Resource Augmentation to clients across global markets.

In this role you will strengthen our go-to-market efforts by identifying and qualifying new opportunities across superannuation, insurance, banking, and other priority sectors. Your work will fuel the sales pipeline, open new client conversations, and accelerate the adoption of secure, reliable, and business-focused agentic AI solutions. By enabling Account Executives and leadership teams with a consistent flow of opportunities, you will directly contribute to our growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound campaigns, targeted outreach, events, and digital channels like LinkedIn etc.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our advisory and consulting offerings across Technology Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI, Digital Transformation, and Resource Augmentation
  • Identify potential clients in FSI and other verticals, mapping stakeholders and decision-making structures
  • Qualify leads based on fit, business need, readiness, and alignment with our solutions
  • Schedule discovery sessions, introductory calls, and capability presentations for senior sales leads
  • Maintain accurate CRM entries, pipeline data, and activity logs
  • Conduct research on accounts, industries, trends, and regulatory drivers relevant to AI and data modernisation
  • Support proposal development, case study preparation, and outreach materials
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on targeted campaigns and content alignment
  • Build early relationships with mid-level stakeholders to support long-term account growth
  • Ensure seamless handover of qualified opportunities to Account Executives and Sales Director
  • Track and report weekly metrics including outreach, conversion, meetings booked, and pipeline progression

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in business development, lead generation, or inside sales within consulting, technology services, or data & AI sectors
  • Strong understanding of enterprise consulting offerings (EA, Data & AI, Strategy, Transformation, Resource Augmentation)
  • Ability to communicate value propositions clearly and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with agentic AI, LLMs, RAG solutions, and cloud transformation trends (advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Strong research skills with the ability to map accounts, identify buyer needs, and detect early opportunities
  • Experience working in CRM systems and managing structured sales processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High resilience, discipline, and ability to manage outbound activity with consistency
  • Collaborative, structured, and organised approach to supporting cross-functional sales efforts

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2–4 years’ experience in business development or inside sales
  • Experience in technology consulting or enterprise software environments preferred
  • Exposure to FSI sectors (banking, insurance, superannuation) is desirable
  • Experience working remotely or in global delivery teams is an advantage
